I studied art and photography at college before entering the photographic world as a printer in a professional lab in London’s West End. While learning my craft I also embarked on The Knowledge in order to become a London taxi driver.Both interests now neatly dovetail with the city workshops I run in my black cab. I also work with Light and Land, offering tours slightly further afield.
I have taught alongside Doug, and also Valda for several years now and while our artistic styles differ, we share a common goal - that of a quiet, meditative approach and the development of personal expression. My approach leans towards a more minimalist aesthetic but now that my Nikon is capable of the full range of multiple exposure options, I feel there may be stones unturned.
I have exhibited alongside Doug and Valda, in Brighton and in London.
