COLLABORATIVE ONLINE LEARNING WITH BAILEY CHINNERY
A five-week interactive online course with Valda and Doug, designed to help push you to the next level in your image-making.
This course has been designed to help those of you who are comfortable with creative techniques and are looking to push forward and explore ways to develop your own voice as an artist.
Each week you will join a live, online session with your class, hosted by Valda and Doug. Running for about 90 minutes, during these sessions you will be able to talk live with them and ask questions on technique, composition and issues you are having as well as interact with your classmates.
There will be presentations from Valda and Doug on various aspects of the creative process with ideas on how to develop your own artistic voice.
Each week you will also have a private one hour session with either Valda or Doug (two hours with each over the duration of the course). We will work with you live, on screen, helping with processing or creative ideas.
We will talk about working on projects and discuss seeing beyond the obvious. We will give you suggestions of books to read that may help you on your creative journey. We will talk about fear and taking risks and how important this is if we want to advance.
We discuss how to identify subjects/themes, along with ways to give your work a purpose and focus.

Although some of these clients have been making images this way for some time, much of the work on display is from people who only completed the First Steps module a couple of months earlier.
